Celebrating a historic year for Poly Athletics and the community that made it possible.
In 2025–2026, Poly Athletics delivered one of its most successful seasons in school history. Panther Pride, hard work, and perseverance were at the heart of it all. Poly teams won seven league championships, six individual titles, and eight league MVP honors. Boys’ Varsity Soccer claimed its second consecutive CIF championship, a remarkable achievement.
Tim Wang ’01, reflecting on his own experience of athletic achievement at Poly, generously made a gift that Poly used to purchase a new scoreboard for the aquatics program. “Participating in Poly athletics was a defining experience for me, and I want Poly’s student athletes today to know that the alumni
community is rooting for their success. I’m inspired by how far the aquatics program has come (we didn’t even have a pool when I was at Poly) and how we hope it will grow for generations to come!" shared Tim.
Director of Athletics Scott Bello reflected, “When faculty and staff cheer on our teams, when our families and students show their Panther Pride at events like Pack the Haus, and when donors make philanthropic gifts to support our athletics program, it sends an important message to our athletes that Poly is behind them. On behalf of the entire athletics program, thank you for joining us in supporting and celebrating our athletes.”
