Tammy Kim and Kyle Yamamoto P’38, Ethan Y.’s parents, shared why he was inspired to support Poly: “We were looking through the Report of Giving when Ethan had questions about why people donate. We explained to him why it was important to give back and support your community. When he told us he didn’t have much to give, we reminded him that even a small gift can make an impact. He then decided to use his first Tooth Fairy money that he just had received a couple weeks ago to make a donation. It was a small gift, but a meaningful lesson in giving back. We can only hope that this is the beginning of a tradition of supporting his school that goes beyond his last baby tooth.”
